Study from the Praxis Strategy Group shows Utah leads in several business and economics categories

UTAH — A new study from the Praxis Strategy Group for the U.S Chamber of Commerce Foundation has ranked the State of Utah as one of the best and most stable states for economics and business across six different categories. The categories were business climate, economic performance, innovation and entrepreneurship, high-tech performance, talent pipeline, and transportation and trade. The report rates the states by their high-tech performance and economic vitality.

The study reported that Utah easily comes first in the nation for innovation and entrepreneurship, second for high-tech performance, third for economic performance, fifth in transportation and trade, and seventh for business climate. Only North Dakota and Texas surpassed Utah in overall economic performance.
